Help Us Keep the Music Going!

Help Us Keep the Music Alive at the Lamar Fair! To keep this incredible tradition going, we need your help.

Over the past couple of years, live music at the close of the Lamar Fair has become something special — families and friends gathering together under the carnival lights, enjoying unforgettable performances, and celebrating our community in a big way.

We can’t do it alone, the truth is these concerts don’t just happen. They take planning, effort, and support from people who believe in the power of community events. That’s where you come in.

When you donate to the Barton County Community Foundation, you’re planting the seed money for next year’s concert. Every dollar makes a difference — helping us secure bigger talent, improve the experience, and continue to grow this tradition year after year.

And did you know? Even grabbing a drink at the concession stand helps too! Concession sales go right back into the fund, becoming part of the seed money that keeps the music alive.

With growing interest in Wyatt Earp and the enduring legacy of the American Old West, the Barton County Chamber of Commerce established the Wyatt Earp Park through the Barton County Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The vision was twofold: to celebrate one of Lamar’s most notable historical figures as a draw for tourism, and to create a welcoming community gathering space on the square. Today, Wyatt Earp Park serves as a hub for musical performances, festivals, and local celebrations—bringing people together while preserving a unique part of our town’s history.

The Barton County Chamber is solely responsible for maintaining Wyatt Earp Park. Through ongoing fundraising efforts, private event rentals, and the support of generous donors, the park will continue to fulfill its purpose as both a community gathering space and a tribute to Lamar’s history.

Together, we can make sure these concerts remain the perfect grand finale to the Lamar Fair for years to come.

To help ensure future concerts remain free or at reduced admission, please consider donating to the Wyatt Earp Park—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations go to the Barton County Chamber Foundation Inc., under the Barton County Chamber of Commerce which owns and maintains the park, and are completely tax-deductible.
You can donate via Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal Giving Fund—or contact the Barton County Chamber of Commerce for other ways to give.
